Job summary

We are looking for a motivated individual to liaise daily with our medical teams across York and Scarborough sites to ensure are medical rotas are safely and efficiently staffed. You should have excellent organisational and communication skills.

Main duties of the job

You will provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective administrative support by efficiently deploying Consultant and Senior/Junior Doctors across the Care Group. This will involve close liaison with Consultants, Senior/Junior Doctors and the Care Group Management Team. Responsible for providing and co-ordinating rotas, ensuring cover is arranged for all vacant shifts.

Essential

  • Confident and Self Motivated

Education, Qualifications and Training

Essential

  • Educated to A Level Standard or equivalent or GCSE Maths and English (Grades A-C)
  • At least 1 year's administration experience

Desirable

  • ECDL

Experience and Knowledge Required

Essential

  • Confident & effective user of MS Office packages inc Word, Outlook/NHS Mail and Excel. Including ability to accurately undertake data entry
  • Proven ability to prioritise and manage changing and/or conflicting deadlines
  • Proven customer service skills

Desirable

  • Understanding of rotas and staffing requirements
  • Previous experience using Health Roster
