Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the DSFS Finance team as the Financial Services Assistant.
We are looking for a motivated team player who is pro-active, enjoys working with data and figures and can also demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
This is a part-time role (up to 27.5 hours per week) and we are happy to discuss different flexible working options with prospective candidates.

Main duties of the job
As the Financial Services Assistant, you will be assisting in the day-to-day finance and administrative duties of the Trust, DSFS Ltd, and it's Charity.

Qualifications and Training
Essential
- Educated to GCSE Level (or equivalent)
- Mathematics and English (Grade A-C or 4-9)
Desirable
- Studying towards, or AAT qualified or equivalent
- A level
Experience
Essential
- Experience of working effectively alone and as part of a team
- Experience of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
- Excellent IT skills
- Experience of dealing effectively with telephone enquiries
Desirable
- Previous experience within NHS finance
- Financial Accounts experience
- Relevant experience of computerised financial applications
- Good understanding of accounting principles
