We are thrilled to announce an exceptional opportunity for the role of General Manager UEC within the Medicine Division at University Sussex Hospitals.
These dynamic position, covers Worthing Hospital, is perfect for an existing General Manager or an aspiring Operational Manager looking to advance their career.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide operational leadership and management to the designatedDirectorate and its associated workforce and services.Working in partnership with other members of the Divisional Management Team, thepost holder will promote effective governance and ensure that the highest standard ofclinical care is delivered. They will be responsible for ensuring all clinical and nonclinical performance indicators, targets and objectives are met in line with national andlocal standards.Working with the Divisional Management Team, the post holder will contribute to thedevelopment, delivery and translation of Divisional and Trust clinical servicestrategies, corporate and divisional objectives and the development andimplementation of business plans and service developments. The post holder will takea lead role in ensuring that quality, performance, CIP and budgetary targets aremonitored and improvement plans are devised and implemented where necessary toenable compliance.The post holder will be required to engender effective partnerships with all internal andexternal stakeholders and ensure effective liaison and partnership working withcommissioners is developed and sustained.

- Masters degree level qualification in Management or Health related subject or equivalent knowledge

- Proven ability to analyse complex problems and to develop and successfully implement practical and workable solutions to address them
