Job summary

Winstree Medical Practice is seeking to employ a GP to join our growing practice and undertake 4- 8 sessions per week; this can be flexible to suit individual requirements.

General GP duties are to be carried out as part of our friendly team. Using SystmOne clinical software, we regularly achieve excellent QoF achievement and patient feedback. We are also rated as "Good" across all domains by our latest CQC inspection.

We are a licensed sponsor under the Skilled Worker immigration route, and we have been given an A rating.

Main duties of the job

All applicants should have the following qualifications:

  • Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
  • Be on the NHSE medical performers list.

About us

Winstree Medical Practice is a semi-rural practice with two surgeries, caring for 7,700 patients. We are a supportive surgery comprising of 4 GPs, 3 advanced nurse practitioners, 2 practice nurses and 2 healthcare assistants along with a dedicated and friendly management and administration team. We are a dispensing practice covering the surrounding villages.

We are supported by additional funded roles from the primary care network enhanced service and are the lead practice for the North Colchester PCN group, comprising of Mill Rd, Bluebell, Highwoods, Winstree and Lawford surgeries.
