- Chronic Disease management (Diabetes, COPD & Asthma)
- Routine & child immunisations
- Wound Care & dressings
- Travel vaccinations
- Cervical cytology
- Knowledge of Quality & Outcomes Framework (QOF)
- Experience of working and delivering Locally Commissioned Services & Direct Enhanced Services

- Implement and embed health promotion and wellbeing programmes
- Prioritise health issues and intervene appropriately
- Support the team in dealing with clinical emergencies
- Implement vaccination programmes for adults and children
- Ensure compliance with the practice chaperone policy
- Ear irrigation
- Participate in clinical audits
- Implement nursing protocols in conjunction with the Nursing Team

Qualifications
Essential
- Essential
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
- Recognised qualifications to diploma level or above
Desirable
- Non-Medical prescriber
Experience

- Working in a primary care environment
- Working autonomously
- Knowledge of chaperone procedure
- Broad knowledge of clinical governance
- Ability to record accurate clinical notes

- Working as a practice nurse in a GP surgery
