Job summary
The Consultant Gynaecologist will be experienced registered Gynaecologist who is on the specialist register, who possess the skills to assess and treat patients within the community.
Main duties of the job
The Consultant Gynaecologist will see a range of patients within the outpatient setting, in which they will need to assess, evaluate and manage patients with minor and moderate complexity gynaecology conditions.

Job responsibilities
The successful post holder may also need to complete clinics that include but are not limited to:
- Mirena insertion/removal
- Endometrial biopsy
- Cervical Cautery (with silver nitrate)
- Ring/Shelf Pessary insertion/removal

- NHS experience

Qualifications
Essential
- Must be on the Specialist Register for at least 12 months
- Appraisal as Consultant for at least 12 months
