We would be delighted to offer the opportunity to join our dedicated and supportive team delivering outstanding care within the South East district nursing teams. We pride ourselves on working collaboratively with our colleagues across the South locality to provide a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to care delivery.
This opportunity is available to Health Care Assistants who are ready to take the next step into developing their own community career.The post requires locality wide accessibility at times covering other bases within the area and therefore the ability to travel between sites is essential.
An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social care or National Care Certificate is required for this post. If this qualification is not held, successful candidates must be willing to commence this within 6 months of starting in post.
Main duties of the job
You will support the nursing team to deliver outstanding care, showing support to our patients and their families; helping to promote independence, dignity and positively enhancing the lives of the patients in our care.
We welcome applications from experienced Healthcare Assistants wishing to change to community nursing or for individuals who are looking for a new and rewarding career opportunity. Community experience or evidence of working in a care setting is desirable.
