By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, youll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a teenage girl in Morpeth, Northumberland.
Our service user attends a youth group outside of school, where she loves socialising with peers her age. She enjoys visiting Costa and the Metrocentre, particularly for cinema trips. Her interests include reading, writing, playing, singing on the karaoke, and texting her friends.
Your role? To provide essential care, remain attentive, and oversee our service users needs. You will provide companionship and support her to access the things she enjoys
Please note, our service user has specifically requested female staff for their team.

Main duties of the job
Pay Rates:
- £14.00 - £17.00 per hour
- Approx. £84.00 - £102.00 (per 6-hour day shift)
Shifts Available:
- Part Time Days (12 hours per week)
- 6-hour shifts available in the mornings or evenings
Essential Experience:
- 3 months previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Clear Communication Skills
- Valid Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle

Job responsibilities
The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
