By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, youll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a pleasant teenage boy in Ormskirk.

Whilst you will provide crucial care for our service user, your role will also be packed with lots of fun and fulfilling moments. He is a happy and sociable young boy who enjoys going for walks, baking, and engaging in arts and crafts. Our ideal candidate will actively participate in his playtime activities.

During the day, you will support his learning and development within his educational setting. At night, you will create a calming environment to ensure a restful sleep. Your role is to provide specialist care, staying alert and vigilant to manage his care needs as they arise.

Please note, our service users family have specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Main duties of the job

Pay Rates:

• £15.00 - £18.00 per hour
• Approx. £180.00 - £216.00 (per 12-hour day shift)
• Approx. £165.00 - £180.00 (per 10-hour night shift)

Shifts Available:

• Full Time Days
• Monday to Friday (8am 8pm & 8am 4:30pm)
• Saturdays (8am 8pm)
• Sundays (8am 12pm)
• Part Time Nights (10pm - 8am)
• 2 shifts per week

• Alternate weekends are needed for this position

  Essential Experience:

• 3 months previous care experience
• Medication administration
• Personal care
• Moving and handling
• Pet friendly (Our service user does have a family pet dog)
• Clear communication skills
