Job summary
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated staff with excellent communication skills to join our forward thinking dynamic orthopaedic nursing teams. You must have a passion for delivering kind and compassionate care. Recruiting motivated, capable and committed staff is the key to maintaining our high standards of quality, safety and patient experience.
This position is not currently eligible for a certificate of sponsorship in line with Home Office guidance as it does not appear on the skilled worker visa occupation list.
If you currently hold a different type of visa allowing you to work in the UK we would welcome an application from you. If your visa expires or there is a change in status during your employment, the Trust will be required to review your employment which may result in the termination of your employment to comply with the relevant immigration legislation.
Main duties of the job
To undertake a range of duties including clerical and direct careactivities working in support of and supervised by the trained nurse

Qualifications
Essential
- Possess or be willing to work towards the Care Certificate
- Be able to demonstrate basic literacy and numeracy skills required for the post
Desirable
- Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Functional Skills Level 1 Numeracy
Experience
Essential
- No previous experience required
Desirable
- Experience of working in a formal care setting or as an informal carer
- Previous experience of dealing with the public
Knowledge
Essential
- Understanding of what 'confidentiality' is and how you put into practice
- Understanding of equality and diversity and how you put it into practice
- Able to follow direct instructions

- Demonstrate literacy in IT
