Job summary
The postholder will be part of a highly motivated Podiatry team working autonomously but with support (where needed) from a senior Podiatrist, in a community setting providing a high standard of quality clinical care. Working with patients at High risk of foot ulcers or with currently active foot ulcerations to support them with management of their foot pathologies.
The clinician will have had clinical experience for at least one year and completed a programme of competences.
The post holder will assess, diagnose, develop and implement individualised care programmes for patients with a wide variety of clinical needs. The post holder will also be expected to plan and manage their own caseload.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the assessment diagnosis, planning implementation and evaluation of Podiatric care to a variety of patients with a wide range of clinical needs including: Diabetes, Vascular Disease, Rheumatological disease, Wound management, Neurological disorders, Nail Surgery.
