Job summary
This role as a Housekeeping Assistant at Avery Healthcare in Downend involves ensuring high standards of cleanliness and laundry maintenance in the care home. Main duties of the job
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your focus will be to work as part of a team to maintain cleanliness and laundry standards in the care home. You will operate according to the standard operating procedures, ensuring hotel service standards are met. Other responsibilities include carrying out all cleaning duties, understanding cleaning requirements for different surfaces, and treating residents with dignity and respect.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
- Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
- Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
- Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.

Experience in cleaning laundry in a public setting and demonstrating compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping and laundry service to residents are also required.
