Main duties of the job
As a Learning and Development Facilitator, your focus will be on leading training sessions for a cluster of homes, focusing on statutory and mandatory topics. You will be responsible for identifying learning needs, planning and designing engaging learning courses and content, facilitating interactive induction and refresher courses both face-to-face and virtually, and accurately recording training sessions. You will also be assessing learner knowledge, confidence, and understanding throughout the training.

You will be ensuring that we have a competent and compliant team to deliver exceptional care to our residents.Other responsibilities will include:
- Leading training sessions for a cluster of homes, focusing on statutory and mandatory topics
- Identifying learning needs using the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Planning and designing engaging learning courses and content.
- Facilitating interactive induction and refresher courses, both face-to-face and virtually, accurately recording training sessions in the LMS.
- Assessing learner knowledge, confidence, and understanding throughout training.
- Experience in learning and development within the adult social care sector.
- Experience in adult social care and related qualifications.
- Knowledge of statutory and mandatory training requirements.
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and meeting neurodiversity learning needs.
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to work towards it).
- Level 3 (or above) in Health and Social Care (or similar).
- A UK driving licence and own transport.
- A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

- To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in learning and development within the adult social care sector, as well as experience in adult social care and related qualifications. You should have knowledge of statutory and mandatory training requirements, a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and meeting neurodiversity learning needs, and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to work towards it) and a Level 3 (or above) in Health and Social Care (or similar). A UK driving licence and own transport are also required.
