Job summary

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Management Accountant to join the neurosurgical side of the Women's Health division. The Management Accountant will be part of the Specialist Hospitals Board finance team at and will help ensure the consistent achievement of financial performance and outcome targets that support the delivery of UCLH's objectives and vision.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be expected to make an active contribution to the finance function, generating service improvement ideas and deputising as and when required for the Finance Manager. You will be a strong communicator and will be able to work with non-finance staff to present complex financial information in ways which will ensure engagement and understanding. The role is a hybrid office / home working position with an expectation of at least two days a week on site. Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to A-Level or equivalent.

Desirable

  • Actively studying for CCAB qualification.

Experience

Essential

  • Two years of experience of working in Finance.

Desirable

  • One year of experience of working in the NHS.

  • Confident working with, and manipulating, complex data to produce useful information.
