Job summary
An opportunity has arisen due to departmental expansion and we are looking for a Medical Education Administrator to join our dynamic multi-professional Medical Education Team, based at Hammersmith Hospital.
The Medical Education Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support across all sites Medical Education Team. The post holder will work together with the team and its many stakeholders from Medical Students, Resident Doctors, Consultants, Imperial College London Medical School, NHS England and more to ensure the delivery of high quality postgraduate and undergraduate medical training at the Trust.
The post holder will be part of the Medical Education team and support our sites, reporting to the Education Managers. The post holders role will be to provide support to medical students, resident doctors, medical education managers, educational leads, teaching fellows and other administrators with the organisation of all aspects of medical education programmes and activities across our sites.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be a main point of contact for medical students and resident doctors assisting with tasks such as organising and preparing timetables/programme schedules and disseminating that in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all educational leads are allocated and students and resident doctors sign offs and assessments are completed, help organise the medical students exams, supporting assessments and curriculum implementation and delivery, maintain efficient office systems including keeping accurate records, the management and maintenance of the Education Centre facilities and more.
We are looking for someone that will be highly motivated, be able to demonstrate a pleasant and professional manner when dealing with people, has excellent communication skills, previous experience with managing data, attention to detail, organisational and forward planning skills, be quick to learn and able to prioritise own workload with minimum of supervision.

- Administrative roles in dealing with the Public/Customer service
- Ability to deal with stressful situations and sensitive issues.

- To multi-task independently with minimal supervision.

- Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of equality and diversity.
