Main duties of the job

As a Medical Education Coordinator, you'll play a key role in the seamless delivery of high-quality educational training for GP trainees and Foundation Programme doctors. Your work will ensure that postgraduate medical education runs smoothly and effectively.

Job responsibilities

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation and management of educational and training programmes for clinical staff.

Facilitate online and in-person training sessions, ensuring smooth collaboration with educational teams.

Provide data analysis and reporting to support quality management and performance monitoring.

Develop and oversee trainee rotas and training schedules, ensuring effective communication with training programmes.

Support educational and clinical supervisors and trainees in maintaining trainee e-portfolios.

Manage and update the ACP Training Matrix.

To support the introduction of new working processes to optimise quality.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in medical education administration.
  • Proven experience in rota planning and educational provision for GP trainees and Foundation Programme doctors.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

Desirable

  • Formal training in Medical Education
