Job summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse within the Medical Emergency Assessment Unit (MEAU) at Llandough Hospital.
The Medical Assessment Unit is a dynamic and busy unit within the Emergency and Acute Medicine Directorate. The unit provides care for medically expected patients who are acutely unwell withavariety of medicalconditions.
The department is very well supported and has a number of staff that are highly knowledgeable to help you transition onto the ward smoothly.

Main duties of the job
Applications are welcomed from qualified Level 1 Registered Nurses who have significant experience within Medicine and can demonstrate substantial knowledge within this field of expertise.
The post holder will be expected mange the flow within specific areas of MEAU, providing effective leadership and management of the nursing team in an environment which is complex and pressurised.
You will require excellent communication and clinical skills, significant evidence of CPD and show passion and enthusiasm for working in this field of medicine.
