Job summary
We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our practice team.
Main duties of the job
Receive, assist, and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
About us
We have a list size of 10500 patients and deliver our GMS contract over 3 sites. Our main site is Hawarden Health Centre with branch sites in Saltney and Buckley. Hawarden is located 6.7 miles from Chester and is 4 miles from the English border, we are close to motorway links giving direct access to Chester, Liverpool and Manchester

Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the practice
Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
- Experience of Microsoft Office software
Desirable
- Experience of EMIS Clinical System
- Experience of dealing with the public/patients
