Job summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full time Medical Workforce Administrator to support the Medical Workforce Team for approximately 12 months covering maternity leave.
Good communication skills, attention to detail and strong administration skills are essential to this role as are experience of Microsoft Office packages and all aspects of office work.
You will be responsible for the delivery of a timely, accurate and high quality customer focused service ensuring safe recruitment practices and effective medical locum sourcing.
You will need to be motivated, flexible and able to work independently and at times under pressure. Full training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support and assist the Head of Medical Workforce and the Medical Workforce team in all aspects of medical recruitment and resourcing by managing the recruitment life cycle with regard to Deaneries/Training & Trust vacancies and dealing with day-to-day enquires from doctors and managers.

Job responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment life cycle with regards to Deaneries/Training & Trust vacancies.
- As part of the medical work programme, to support rotations with work schedules and other process documents, as necessary, to meet target deadlines
- Deal with day to day enquires from doctors and managers.
- Assist with the workload in the absence of colleagues.
- To contribute to the development of compliant medical working patterns/rotas in the system, as necessary
To obtain sign off from the departmental lead for any changes made to the rota template and to raise any variances in hours

Qualifications
Essential
- Minimum of 5 GCSE (C and above) or equivalent experience
- Experience in using Microsoft packages and electronic systems
- Evidence of continued professional development

- Awareness of medical terms and conditions
