Job summary
To deliver MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme),
and other relevant driver training for community transport
providers and other voluntary and community organisations
Main duties of the job
Provision of high quality driver training in line with agreed aims and objectives.
This will be delivered in mix of theoretical and practical sessions to small groups of learners.

Job responsibilities
- To maintain the MiDAS DAT (Minibus Driver AwarenessScheme Driver Assessor Trainer) qualification.
- To establish and promote an ongoing programme of regular MiDAS Training sessions and to work as part of a team to deliver the training.
- To assist with the identification of additional training needs in the community transport sector and, where appropriate, provision of training to meet these needs
- To maintain awareness of any legal changes affecting drivers of community minibuses

- Experience of driver training / education
