Job Description
Job summary
To provide comprehensive, high quality and confidential audit data on behalf of the Domestics Department. The post holder will work on their own initiative utilising a sound knowledge and understanding of the Trust and Division's audit data objectives and practices including PLACE, technical audits and CQC.
Main duties of the job
The postholder is required to communicate and liaise widely with Trust staff at all levels, wards and departments, external agencies and contacts using tact, diplomacy, confidentiality using appropriate language and behaviours at all times in line with the Trust's Vision and Values (see below)
In accordance with the appropriate policies and procedures, offer advice and guidance and carry out audits in relation to PLACE inspections, technical audits and CQC inspections.
Communicate relevant information within the domestics department and externally in the appropriate manner to support the effective and efficient delivery of data.
Produce documentation and reports to professional standards at all times
Manage the processing of correspondence; emails, letters and telephone calls, which may be confidential and/or sensitive in nature thereby requiring use of judgement and initiative
Provide and receive information electronically, verbally or in writing which may be of a highly confidential, complex and/or sensitive nature and ensure this is communicated appropriately within and outside of the division and organisation
Construction of all audit material as required during set timescales

- Ability to use a PC and all Trust IT systems relevant to the role (i.e., Integra, MS Office, Outlook etc) Advanced MS Office IT skills including word processing / mail merge etc
- Understanding of the fundamentals of Data Protection, data quality and confidentiality

- Evidence of having championed diversity in previous roles (as appropriate to role).
