Main duties of the job

You will be a valued member of our multi-disciplinary team led by our Outpatients Manager. Your responsibilities will include but aren't limited to:

  • Organise and undertake the pre-operative assessment of patients, ensuring that they are fit and suitable for surgery
  • Assisting in the efficient running of the outpatient and pre-assessment service
  • Coordinating the patients journey from pre-admission to discharge

About us

As an NMC Registered General Nurse, you will have recent and relevant pre-assessment experience gained in an acute care or elective surgical setting as well as intermediate life support skills, and hands on clinical skills to include ECGs and phlebotomy.
