We have redesigned and restructured our clinical services, and are introducing new and innovative ways of working to meet the increasing need for our support.
At St Richards, were all united in a common goal: providing the very best care for patients, the people close to them, and carers.
We are seeking a PA to the Clinical Directors to join the team to provide a professional secretarial and administrative service to the clinical directors. The role will also include supporting the Caldicott Guardian and Caldicott function and co-ordination and minute taking of meetings of relevant governance meetings.
The variety of the role will include, complex diary management, producing letters, complex reports and evaluations. Working collaboratively across hospice teams the post holder will compile the weekend on call rota for the medical team and provide weekly updates of staffing to relevant clinical staff.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to exercise independent judgements and use their initiative, creativity and experience to develop solutions to support the Clinical Directors to be more effective and efficient in their daily duties for the organisation.
The post holder will have secretarial and administrative experience in addition to a relevant business or administration qualification or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge.
You will have experience of minute taking and diary management of multiple personnel with the ability to identify priorities with a reactive workload.
A high level of organisational skills and excellent communication skills will be required, with the ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues and externally.
The post holder will have excellent word processing skills and good working knowledge of IT including Microsoft packages and Outlook diary management systems.
Personal Assistant experience at senior level and experience of working in a health care organisation is desirable but not essential for the role.
