Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Band 3 Support Secretary with the Countywide Parkinson's Service. We are seeking an experienced secretary who has an enthusiastic and flexible approach to a varied and sometimes pressurised workload.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication, IT and time management skills, plus the ability to work independently without direct supervision as well as part of the Countywide Parkinson's Team.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide a medical secretarial service to fully support consultants, medical staff and other health professionals from the hospital setting including both outpatient and inpatient activity.
Ensuring all clinical activity and outcomes from consultations or episodes of care are recorded and relevant accurate correspondence is shared with appropriate course.

Education/Qualitifactions and Relevant Experience

- GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
- NVQ 3/ RSA 3 or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office or similar applications
Skills and Aptitude

- Excellent communication skills
- Audio typing
Knowledge & Abilities
Essential
- Experience of working within an administrative setting including diary management, organising meetings, note taking and audio typing
Desirable
- Healthcare/NHS administrative experience
