Salary £23,283.00 - £25,457.00 (pro rata) depending on experience

Full Time 37.5 Hours per week (8am to 4pm Mon-Fri)

NHS General Practice seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible person to join our lively practice team.

This is a key post in our practice: we receive masses of information every day electronic and paper based, about patients and other matters, from a variety of sources and it all needs organising, coding and allocating.

You will have a high standard of IT literacy and be able to learn and apply concepts of clinical coding and workflow management. You will help optimise the workflow with your excellent organisation and methodical skills, which aids in providing top quality patient care.

Please be aware that it is a legal requirement for all our staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by 1 April 2022. If successful in your application, you will be required to provide evidence of vaccination or appropriate medical exemption.

Qualifications

  • GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths

Experience

Essential

  • Working in an environment using sensitive information
  • A demonstrably high standard in everyday usage using at least two different IT systems
  • Track record of complex accurate requirement for data inputting and handling
  • Track record of the need for Interpretation of complex information Has worked constructively in small teams and has been involved in training
  • Evidence of a good track record Track record of self-directed work

Desirable

  • Evidence of an ability to adapt in a changing roleBeen involved in small team leadership
  • Previous experience
  • Knowledge of Read codes or other structured coding systems Previous experience of problem-solving and dealing with helpdesks Has had previous experience in customer service role
