Job responsibilities

  • Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:Conduct thorough assessments of patients musculoskeletal issues, including pain, mobility limitations, and postural imbalances.
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation:Develop and deliver evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, focusing on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and lifestyle advice.
  • Manual Therapy: Apply hands-on techniques, such as joint mobilisations, soft tissue manipulation, and trigger point release to relieve pain and restore function.
  • Exercise Therapy: Design and prescribe exercise programmes to enhance strength, flexibility, and functional mobility, supporting long-term recovery and injury prevention.
  • Patient Education: Provide education and guidance on injury prevention, postural improvement, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications to help patients maintain long-term musculoskeletal health.
  • Progress Monitoring and Documentation: Regularly monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and accurately document assessments, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with clinic standards
  • Collaborative Care: Work alongside other physiotherapists and Sports Therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • CPD and Training: Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated on the latest practices in MSK physiotherapy
  • Equipment and Resource Management:Ensure treatment areas and therapy equipment are well-maintained, clean, and available for client use.
  • Work based assessments:Carry out work-based assessments for CIPHER Medical Staff and external clients.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Bachelors in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC Registration

Experience

Essential

  • 2 Years experience working as a Physiotherapist within the UK
