Job summary
We are a small, rural dispensing practice with a list size of around 3200. We are looking for someone to join our team of 12 staff as our Practice Nurse, as our current Practice Nurse is leaving soon.
Main duties of the job
General Practice Nurse Duties Including:
Stock Control
Infection Control
Policy Maintenance/Management
Management of Diabetes Care
Wound Management
Chronic Disease Management
SMI/LD Health Checks
About us
We are a small team of 12 staff members, including 2 GPs (both partners), an HCA, a medical secretary, a dispensary team and some admin/reception staff. And a practice nurse of course.
We strive for excellence when it comes to the patient's experience here, and it does get bust as a result. However, we are a close team who engage with each other very well, and we support each other as much as we can.
We do our best to find time for a cup of tea and a chat whilst ensuring we keep our standards high.
Job responsibilities
We are looking for a Practice Nurse to join our small, friendly team.
You will work closely with our HCA and GP partners to ensure that we, as a practice, deliver excellent and efficient healthcare to our patient list of around 3200.
Extensive experience as a Practice Nurse is obviously ideal, as is experience with diabetes and chronic disease management.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who can split 15-25 hours over clinics on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Exact hours and details can be discussed.
