This role will involve supporting the creation, delivery, and promotion of Chatterbug Academys training courses and services.

Chatterbug Academy is an innovative online learning platform offering pre-recorded courses, live online training, and bespoke face-to-face professional development for Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs), teachers, and other professionals. Our mission is to upskill professionals, expand knowledge in speech and language development, and improve outcomes for children and young people.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic Speech and Language Therapist to join the Chatterbug Academy team on a part-time basis, contributing to the development and delivery of high-quality training and support materials.

Job responsibilities

  • Content Development Assist in designing and developing engaging, evidence based online learning materials, including video content, case studies, and interactive resources.
  • Training Delivery Facilitate live online and face-to-face training sessions, supporting professionals in enhancing their skills in speech, language, and communication interventions.
  • Collaboration Work alongside the Sales/Marketing Manager, Clinical Leads, and the wider team to align course offerings with market needs and ensure a seamless learning experience.
  • Engagement and Support Provide expert advice and support to professionals accessing Chatterbug Academy, responding to queries, and facilitating discussions where needed.
  • Evaluation and Improvement Contribute to the ongoing review and refinement of training materials based on participant feedback, ensuring content remains up to date and impactful.
  • Marketing and Outreach Support promotional efforts by contributing to social media, webinars, and events showcasing Chatterbug Academys offerings.
  • Sales Support Work with the Sales Team to demonstrate the value of Chatterbug Academys courses, supporting schools and organisations in choosing the right training packages.
  • Content Development and Review Create, review, and enhance learning materials to ensure they are neuroaffirming and inclusive, incorporating up-to-date research and best practices in neurodiversity.
  • Marketing Collaboration Work closely with the marketing team to proofread and refine course materials, ensuring consistency and clarity in messaging.
  • Clinical Sales Support Provide clinical expertise and insights to support the Sales Manager in positioning Chatterbug Academys offerings effectively for schools, organisations, and professionals.
  • Neuroaffirming Practice Demonstrate confidence in neuroaffirming practice and contribute to the development of training materials that reflect neuroinclusive approaches.

Essential Criteria

  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC and RCSLT registration.
  • Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, preferably with experience in professional development or training.
  • Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication interventions, with an ability to translate clinical expertise into engaging learning materials.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with experience delivering training online and in person.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and clinical teams.
  • Confidence in using digital platforms and online learning tools.
  • Strong understanding of neuroaffirming practice and a commitment to embedding this approach in content and training.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage workload across multiple projects.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in content development for online learning.
  • Experience working with education professionals and schools.
  • Understanding of market trends in professional development for SLTs and educators.
