This includes assisting with daily living activities, administering medication, monitoring health conditions, providing emotional support, and maintaining accurate records of the care provided. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care for the clients.

Job responsibilities

We have an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Spinal Injury Support Worker to join our team in Devizes, Wiltshire. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex health needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Pay Rate:

£14.70 - £16.80 per hour

Working Hours:

You will be part of a team that will be responsible for delivering the following:

The shifts will either be 12 hour or 24 hour shifts (Sleeping nights). This is a full time position (48hours available per week). Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering personalised care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
  • Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
  • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours.

Essential

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a compassionate and empathetic nature, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
