Job summary
City Health Care Partnership CIC are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join their team of Support Staff in the Urgent Treatment Centre's based in Bridlington and the East Riding of Yorkshire. The Support Staff member will be responsible for booking in all patients on SystmOne, answering phone calls to the department, directing patients accordingly, chaperoning GPs and Practitioners, home visits, equipment and vehicles checks, medication checks, monitoring the waiting room, performing comfort calls and a variety of administration duties. Patient presentations will include undiagnosed undifferentiated illness and minor injuries, acute presentations and at times the exacerbation of long-term conditions.
Main duties of the job
The Support Staff member will be responsible for supporting the clinical team to ensure that the highest standard of clinical care is provided for patients across CHCP Main duties of the job To provide a professional administrative service within the Urgent Treatment Centres. To support all clinical staff in the delivery of care to patients To support in the day-to-day non-clinical running of the Urgent Treatment Centres. To transport and support the duty doctor or practitioner with workloads and routes within clinical priority when carrying out home visits covering Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire. You will be part of a large team that covers bases across Hull and East Yorkshire on a shift pattern that covers a service running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week over 365 days of the year.

Qualifications
Essential
- Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Word processing to OCR level 2 standard International Computer Driving License (ICDL) or able to demonstrate high level of keyboard skills and knowledge
- Current Full Driving License
- Basic Life Support training or willingness to undertake
Knowledge
Essential
- Knowledge of a range of reception and administration procedures.
- Standard IT skills including basic knowledge of Microsoft programmes.
Desirable
- Knowledge of stock rotation and control procedures
Experience
Essential
- Previous experience working with the general public
Desirable
- Previous driving experience
