Job summary
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Workflow Administrator to join our dynamic team in the primary care sector. As a Workflow Administrator you will play a crucial role in accurately coding patient medical records, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and maintaining data integrity. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and excellent attention to detail.
Experience of working in a medical setting would be desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
To function as data input clerk as required with responsibility for the inputting of data according to established routine e.g., hospital letters, all incoming mail. Review and analyse medical documentation. Ensure coding is compliant with coding guidelines and regulations. Monitor Patient call and recall systems. Scanning and coding of letters into patients notes. Any additional duties as outlined in the job description.

The role is varied and will involve some training depending upon experience.

Responsibilities: Workflow Administrator
To function as data input clerk as required with responsibility for the inputting of data according to established routine e.g., hospital letters, all incoming mail.
Ensure coding is compliant with coding guidelines and regulations
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies
Monitor Patient call and recall systems
Scanning and coding of letters and relevant correspondence into patients notes.
Filing and retrieving paperwork
Assist in the tasks and duties of other staff within the team during periods of staff leave / absence to ensure that an effective quality service is always maintained and contributing to the work of the team.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.

Qualifications
Essential
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- GCSE Mathematics & English (C or above)
Desirable
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
