Here at Huby school, we currently have a number of wonderful opportunities to join our dedicated staff team. The Governors seek to appoint an excellent enthusiastic and highly motivated assistant to join our friendly after school provision. This is an exciting, permanent position, which will suit a candidate with enthusiasm for high quality childcare. Huby is a friendly, warm and welcoming school.

The position is 4 hours - Monday and Wednesday from 15:30-17:30. This can include childcare for your primary school aged Huby children should a parent apply. Please note North Yorkshire Catering are also advertising for a school cook, which may suit a candidate looking for additional hours alongside our Before and After School position

The successful candidate will:

·Provide full care for the children attending the before school club

·Provide safe creative, appropriate play opportunities and preparing activities

·Maintain accurate records as required to include completion of accident book, first aid and register of child's attendance

·Prepare and provide a healthy breakfast/snacks/refreshments.

The ability to develop a brilliant rapport with children and nurture their self-esteem is essential, the successful candidate should have excellent communication skills and have calm and understanding manner.
