Salary: £8467.20 for 16 hours term only, full time equivalent £24.027

Grade: C/D

Contract: Fixed term to 18th July 2025 initially with possibility of extension

Hours: 16 hours per week, Breakfast club- 8-8.45am Monday-Friday, After School Club- 3:00pm-5.30pm on Monday-Thursday; 3:00pm-5:00pm on Friday, term time only

Our opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Playworker to provide a caring environment in our After School Club and Breakfast club. This will involve:

  • organising a range of fun and inclusive activities for the children;
  • supervising the children in school or in the outdoor areas;
  • preparing snacks/breakfast and setting up areas to be used for meal time;
  • ensuring all activities are carried out safely and responsibly;
  • reinforcing positive behaviour strategies in line with our behaviour policy.

  • is enthusiastic about working with children;
  • has a positive outlook;
  • can take and act on advice, as well as working on their own initiative;
  • is a team player and good communicator.
