Area Supervisor (Peripatetic cook) East Area 2 We are looking for an enthusiastic Area Supervisor to join our team in the Scarborough, Malton and surrounding areas. NYES Catering is a 'fresh food' organisation encouraging children and young people to choose healthy food with the aim of increasing the uptake of school meals.
The Area Supervisor is responsible to cover a kitchen when the staff are absent from work, as well as general kitchen duties, assisting the area manager in training and inducting new staff, delivering essential items to kitchens and transporting food if required. You will also be required to visit school kitchens, monitor staff working, and report to the area manager. The start off pay for this role will be £14.59 per hour, working 25 hours per week, term time only and no weekend working!
It is essential to have a suitable vehicle with full driving licence and business use insurance. Mileage allowance is given for travelling for this role at 45p per mile.
