Salary: £24,310 to £25,183 pro rata, per annum (From 1st April)

Hours: 22 hours permanent post

Location: The Town Hall, Scarborough

An opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Administrator to join the team supporting the Adult Learning and Skills Service on a permanent contract for 22 hours per week. The working pattern is 08:30 - 17:00 Wednesday and Thursday and 08:30 - 16:30 on Friday.

The role

As a Business Support Administrator you will provide reception and administrative support for the Adult Learning Skills Service based at The Town Hall. This is a varied and rewarding role which can include assisting learners and teachers with enquiries, via the phone, email and face to face, calendar management for rooms, ordering resources, updating various databases and supporting the Operational staff.

What you will bring

To be successful you must be able to demonstrate good use of computer packages, have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and have the ability to problem solve. Experience of data entry is preferable but full training will be provided. You must respect the need for confidentiality of personal information and have knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR), Equalities and Health and Safety requirements of working within an office environment.
