Are you looking for a role with great benefits? We have an opportunity for you to join North Yorkshire Council, working at one of our schools/sites (Richmond Methodist School, Darlington road, Richmond DL10 7BH).
You will be a valued member of our team who will be reliable, dependable and have a strong work ethic. Working for NYC as a Caretaker, you will be responsible for the locking and security of the building, responding to emergency call outs as well as ensuring outside areas are kept safe and clean. You will support the maintenance of the building by checking and replacing light fittings, assisting with minor repairs, and replacing consumables. You will support the training and development of the Cleaners on site as well as assist with cleaning duties as directed. Full training will be provided.
The hours are between 7am - 9am and 6pm - 7.15pm daily, with some flexibility on start and finish time and totalling to 16 hours per week over 5 days. For this, you will be paid £12.45-£13.05 per hour. No weekend work!
