Vacancy Hours: 8.75 hours per week Location: Athelstan Primary School, Selby

We have an opportunity to join our award winning Facilities Management catering team where you will be providing tasty, nutritious, home-cooked meals made from locally sourced fresh produce. We are a 'fresh food' organisation, encouraging children and young people to choose nutritious meals and eat well, fuelling their appetite for learning. We are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team at Athelstan Primary School. As a Catering Assistant, your role will be to support the Catering Manager in delivering an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety. On a daily basis, you will be assisting the catering manager with food prep, setting up and clearing away the dining hall, serving meals to students and staff, washing up and cleaning down the kitchen.

You will be a valued member of our friendly team who is reliable, dependable and committed. No weekend work! You will work term time weeks only; however, you will receive equal monthly payments throughout the year. For this you will be paid £12.60 per hour (As of 1st April 2025) in addition to annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement.
