Salary: £12.60 per hour

Contract: Term time only

Hours: 15 hours per week

Location: Thirsk School and Sixth Form

Weekend Working: No

We have a vacancy as part of our catering team at one of our friendly and inclusive schools. NYES Catering are proud to work with Thirsk School & Sixth Form and we are now looking for a Catering Assistant to support this lovely school.

We provide fresh food, cooked onsite to high standard to support the pupils in their learning with a balanced, wholesome lunch.

You will support the catering manager in all aspects of the service, from serving children, preparing dishes to cleaning and washing up.

For this we will pay you £12.60 per hour for 15 hours per week.

A full enhanced DBS is required, the cost is covered by the company.

You will be supplied with full uniform, safety footwear and all the training and support to ensure you are fully confident in your role.

You will have access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, which we will also contribute to, along with a generous leave entitlement of up to 34 days per year, plus bank holidays, built into your monthly salary.
