Grade: Grade E (SCP 6-9)

Salary: £11,800 - £12,375 per annum (Salary is based on Grade E, Scale Points 06-09 based on full time equivalent of £25,183-£26,409)

Vacancy Hours: 20 per week

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only

Areté Learning Trust is seeking to appoint a Clerk to Governors. Providing professional, administrative support to Governing Bodies, Headteachers and committees. This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful Trust and School.

This role works closely with the Headteacher(s) and the Chair of Governors of the school(s) to ensure meetings are convened, minutes and records of attendance at the meeting are taken and kept and give and receive notices in accordance with relevant regulations.

Job Details

Hours of Work: 20 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only (39 Weeks Per Year)

Places of Work: Primarily remote working with meetings at Ryedale School, Helmsley Community Primary School, Norton College, Northallerton School & Sixth Form College. There may be occasions when required to attend other Schools within the Trust and the Trust Office at Stokesley.

Position Type: Permanent

Line Manager: Governance & Compliance Lead

Travel Required: Yes, successful candidate must have own transport and a driving licence. The salary is dependent on current qualifications and experience, please see the attached job description for more information.
