Job Description

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, experience dependant.

Location: Northallerton, with hybrid working

Contract: Permanent, full-time

We have the opportunity for a Commercial Property Valuer to join the Commercial Estates team at Align Property Services.

In your role, you will provide accurate and detailed valuations of commercial and residential properties, including offices, industrial, retail, and mixed-use assets, catering to both public and private sector. Drawing on your knowledge and expertise, you will advise on market trends, asset performance, and highlight potential investment opportunities.

You will prepare comprehensive valuation reports and provide recommendations to clients for strategic decision-making, ensuring all valuations comply with RICS standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications is a key part of the role.

To be successful in this position, you will:

  • Be aChartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
  • Have a strong understanding of valuation methodologies and RICS standards.
  • Demonstrate experience inboth commercial and residential property valuations, ideally both public and private sector valuations.
  • Analyse market data and produce clear, concise, and accurate reports.
  • Be an excellent communicator, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Be IT proficient, including the use of Microsoft Packages
  • Hold a full UK driver license, with access to a vehicle.
