If so, NYES Catering would love to hear from you! We have a Cooks position available at Amotherby Primary School, in Malton. This is available as part of our team in Area 2, to prepare and cook wholesome meals at our school where you can make a positive difference to our service and the experience of the pupils.
You would be contracted for 27.5 hours per week at the school, 5.5 hours per day and NO weekend working! You would manage the team, with a variety of catering tasks from food preparation cooking/baking, stock ordering and management in line with budgetary requirements, serving pupils to washing up, and by managing and maintaining the kitchen cleanliness.
You would work term time only and be paid £13.05 per hour, this will increase with wage progression through increments yearly up to your allocated banding. And you would have access to the Local Government Pension Scheme and a range of employee benefits whilst working for North Yorkshire Council.
