As part of our catering team, you will be performing a variety of tasks to help prepare and cook tasty, nutritious meals from locally sourced fresh produce.

We are currently recruiting a Cook to join our team at School kitchens. As a school cook your role will be to prepare and cook home cooked nutritious food within a budget following all food legislation and maintaining an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety.

On a daily basis you will be carrying out food preparation, cooking, serving meals to students and staff, managing/ monitoring your team, food ordering, managing stock, maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment, recording and documentation of all relevant information following our food safety management system. You will be a valued member of our friendly team who is reliable, dependable, and committed working flexibly between our operational hours of 8.00am to 14.00pm approx. totalling to 30 hours per week over 5 days. No weekend work! You will work term time weeks only however you will receive equal monthly payments throughout the year.

You will be paid £13.05 per hour in addition to annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement.
