Brierley Homes is a small to medium sized (SME) housebuilder based in York and North Yorkshire, specialising in well-designed, quality homes for market sale. We focus on developments typically between 10 and 50 dwellings, targeting mid to upper market consumers. Funded by North Yorkshire Council, Brierley Homes has unique access to County-owned land assets, with all profits being reinvested to support essential front-line Council services.

The Role:

As a Customer Care Officer at Brierley Homes, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our new build houses meet customer expectations and providing outstanding aftercare. Your responsibilities will include inspecting properties at various stages, working closely with site teams and contractors to resolve any issues before handover, and supporting customers during the handover process. You'll also handle customer queries and complaints, ensuring timely updates and resolutions.

Your key duties will involve arranging inspections for remedial issues, keeping accurate records, and continuously enhancing our customer service levels. You'll work collaboratively with others to ensure a positive customer experience and represent the company positively in all customer interactions.

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of customer service, ideally within the house building industry. You should be knowledgeable about new build house customer care requirements and able to work within data protection legislation.
