Job Description

Yorwaste is looking for an ambitious and experienced Field Sales Executive to join our dedicated sales team. If you have a positive attitude, a drive to exceed customer expectations, and view each day as an opportunity to grow and help our team excel, we want to hear from you.

  • £31,344 per year base salary
  • Performance-based commission payments
  • Company car
  • Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Hybrid working across North Yorkshire

As a Field Sales Executive at Yorwaste, you will lead and develop sales channels for our commercial operations, focusing on generating revenue from commercial waste collection services.

Your responsibilities will include sourcing and prospecting new customers, cold calling, and building sustainable pipelines to achieve sales targets. You will conduct market research, maintain accurate reports, and collaborate closely with the sales and marketing team. Additionally, you will support the customer service team and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Driven by your desire to succeed, you will generate leads, build relationships, and exceed customer satisfaction. Your knowledge of Yorwaste's offerings will enable you to identify additional beneficial services, contributing to our continued growth.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proficiency in IT systems, especially Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Strong customer relationship management and focus on the customer journey
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in field sales, working towards targets and goals
  • Demonstrated use of proactive sales strategies and initiative
  • Valid, clean UK driving licence
  • Ability to meet deadlines and goals under pressure
