General Teaching Assistant (GTA with SEND)

27.5 hours per week, TTO +5 days

Grade C SCP 2 - 4 - £22,366 - £23,114 FTE per annum

Actual Salary: £5,193.90 - £5,367.60

Midday Supervisory Assistant (MSA)

2.5 hours per week, TTO

Grade B - SCP 2 - £22,366 FTE per annum

Actual Salary: £1,269.49

Contract type: Temporary

Start Date: 22nd April 2025

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is vibrant, caring, flexible, innovative and inspiring to work under the direction of our Headteacher and Classroom Teachers.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is vibrant, caring, flexible, innovative and inspiring to work under the direction of our Headteacher and Classroom Teachers. They will have a real passion about how our youngest children learn best and be relentless in their drive to ensure every child achieves. Ideally, they will have experience of working with children with SEND and specific communication and interaction needs.

We are a small team and as such, we would like the successful candidate to be someone who is a strong team player and is willing to contribute to all aspects of school life. The post will be offered on temporary basis to support the child with special educational needs. Initially until 22nd July 2025. There may be opportunity that this post is extended into the following academic year.
