Hourly rate: £12.80 - £13.05 dependant on qualifications

Contract: Permanent

About Us:

At The Ingleborough Nursing Home, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality care and a warm, friendly environment for our residents. We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Cook to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our residents through delicious nutritious home cooked meals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals, catering to individual dietary requirements and preferences.
• Ensure that all meals are presented attractively and served on time.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist with menu planning and stock management.
• Work collaboratively with care staff to understand residents' dietary needs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a cook preferably in a care home or similar setting.
• Knowledge of food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a caring attitude towards residents.
