Fountains CE Primary School is looking to recruit a dedicated and highly organised School Administrator to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity to support the smooth operation of our school, working closely with staff, pupils, parents, and the wider Trust. If you have strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for education, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the first point of contact for all enquiries in response to telephone, email and face to face enquiries, providing excellent customer service to parents, visitors, and external agencies.
• Manage and maintain school records (including the Single Central record), pupil records, databases, and filing systems, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
• Assist with financial administration, including processing orders, invoices, and payments in accordance with Trust financial procedures.
• Assist with the administration of school trips, events, and activities.
• Support the preparation and distribution of school communications, newsletters, and updates to parents and stakeholders.
• Obtain quotes from contractors and negotiating for the best price, also ensuring that adequate and appropriate insurance cover is held by contractors.
• Keep the shared school calendar and school website up-to-date.
• Support the School's compliance with Health & Safety requirements updating systems and recording activity as required.
• Assist in keeping all School Policies up to date and visible on the school website.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within an educational setting
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to work well under pressure and prioritise effectively
• Strong IT skills
• Able to use initiative and have a proactive approach
• Ability to work from any of the three linked schools as required
