Job Description

Wainwright Primary Academy are looking for a dedicated Administration Assistant to join our talented and supportive team. We would very much recommend and welcome you for a visit so you can meet us and understand our community.

This role will require someone with good interpersonal and communication skills, who is able to work closely with colleagues, as part of a team, as well as being able to work independently.

We are seeking someone who is empathetic, professional and warm, with a good sense of humour; someone who can be flexible and embrace a challenge, working as part of a busy team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a key part of the student services, providing a range of administrative services to support the students and staff within the academy
  • Support the promotion of positive relationships with parents, carers and external agencies

Essential

  • GCSE qualification or equivalent, and a good standard of literacy and numeracy
  • To be able to work with a variety of IT systems, including word processing, spreadsheets, Teams and database operation
  • Good planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Able to interpret written and verbal instructions to carry out processes with regular supervision

Desirable

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative work setting
