Job Description

Newark Orchard School is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to join our dedicated team for two days per week.
We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) who:
- Has a genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEND.
- Values collaboration with students, families, and colleagues to create a bespoke and engaging curriculum.
- Is committed to trauma-informed practice, understanding how life experiences shape behaviour and learning.
- Can foster a positive and supportive classroom environment where every learner can thrive.
- Demonstrates empathy, patience, and resilience in supporting students with diverse needs.
- Aligns with our school values and has a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive school culture.
- Is reflective and eager to learn, adapting practices to meet the needs of our students.
- Brings creativity and a problem-solving mindset to engage and inspire learners.
- Upholds the principles of inclusion, innovation, and lifelong learning.
