An exciting role is available within County Print Finishers.
A unique business tracing its history back to 1946. We provide high quality print, digital post and fulfilment solutions from our base in central Oxford. We do all this by employing people who need support beyond reasonable adjustments in the workplace. All our services are delivered under our ISO 9001 certificated quality system to high sustainability standards on FSC stock.
About the Role
We are looking for an industry support worker to provide the necessary skills and experience to meet the commercial and support needs of the industry, including areas such as print finishing, client support, reprographics, typographic design, procurement, machine operation, mail and fulfilment. You will be supporting adults whose needs go beyond reasonable adjustment for the workplace in a fast-paced factory environment.
Some of the work that you will be undertaking will be:
- To support the development of members of the Supported Industry workforce by assisting in developing work within the industry and manage business workflow.
- To assess and record with industry workers any highlighted changes in need as directed by Senior Industry Support Workers.
- To assist in the writing and development of support/progression plans with individuals.
- To always work to safeguard the needs of vulnerable adults.
- To positively work with the team to plan and implement changes by proactively responding to an ever-changing environment.
- Support and comply with internal/external audit requirements and processes.
We have a dedicated induction plan for all new starters where we will develop your knowledge, skills, and expertise for you to be successful in your role.
About you
You will be a kind, dependable, organised, and caring individual. Willing to work in a busy factory environment providing in-job support to our Supported Industrial workforce. You will be a person who can build excellent working relationships, a highly organised individual with good IT skills.
Rewards and benefits
- Annual leave allowance: 28 days, pro-rata, per annum. Rising to 30 days after 5 years' service and 31 days after 10 years.
- Pension: You will have access to a Local Government Pension Scheme with employer contributions.
